Forehead Rows

Forehead furrows can be eliminated using Botox.

Horizontal wrinkles across the forehead are caused over time by raising the eyebrows to form facial expressions. Sun damage contributes to making the lines deeper and more likely to stick around even when a person doesn’t have a surprised look on their face. Botox Cosmetic can be used to relax the muscles that cause the lines, leaving enough movement so that the person doesn’t have a frozen-looking forehead and can still make normal expressions. If the patient is good about returning for repeat treatments to the area, eventually they may lose most or all of the etching, and require fewer units of Botox to maintain a furrow-free forehead.

If the furrows are too deep to treat with Botox alone, then Juvéderm or Restylane may be used to plump out the wrinkles.
